A Future of Hope for Adults with Autism
As a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Julian has the rare opportunity to stay in high school for seven years, graduating at the age of 21. However, after graduation, he will transition into adulthood, where opportunities for support become increasingly scarce. Unlike his peers who will graduate and pursue careers, Julian faces a future with few prospects for work, independence, or new beginnings. Unfortunately, he is not alone in this struggle. Many adults with Autism find themselves deprived of the chance to explore the world and live meaningful lives.
This is why the Rapallo family is determined to establish the Lighthouse Centre—a place dedicated to adults with Autism, providing them with the opportunities, resources, and support they deserve. The Lighthouse Centre will be a beacon of hope, offering guidance and community, while easing the burden on families who are often left to navigate this journey alone.
The mission of this fundraiser—and all future events organized by the Rapallo family—is to support the construction of the Lighthouse Centre. This centre will serve as a vital resource for adults with Autism, giving them a place to grow, connect, and live with purpose. It will also foster a greater sense of understanding and inclusion within our communities, allowing these individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
